Agreed on that! However, I'd like to add to the layers a different pov, which doesn't excuse her but explains quite a lot... Donovan is a woman doing what until recently was a man's job: believe my personal experience when I say that she's been made to feel like a freak herself more than a couple of times. (Not by Lestrade, though).
