Kind of glad I'm not dipping my toes into the fandom proper, then, so much as appreciating that a decent number of existing LJ friends have jumped into this new fandom at the same time I've gotten interested. Haven't been exposed to any Sally-hatred that way.
And one of those friends, neadods, has been making a special point of passing along lots of Sherlock recs. This story was mentioned in this entry, which is a week old but then again I'm still catching up from being largely offline for the time I spent at home over Xmas.
