That was excellent! One or two Americanisms, but I really liked all the glimpses into Lestrade's backstory. It really rings true for him! I can never work out whether my headcanon for him is "divorced" or "happily married with three kids" but "divorced, with kids" fits him quite well for some reason. Well done on the tie-ins with the show, especially don't commit suicide. Thanks for sharing. And the implication of "James" was very intriguing indeed.
